Al Basti Equiword, Dubai the UAE’s leading distributor or horse feeds and supplements proudly sponsors the Owners & Trainers facilities at Bath Racecourse
On behalf of everyone at Bath Racecourse, I’m delighted to welcome you to our first fixture of the season this Easter Sunday. It promises to be a fantastic afternoon of high quality racing and Easter celebrations.
We extend our sincere thanks to all of today’s sponsors for their generous support of British racing. We hope they, along with all our guests, enjoy a truly memorable day.
We’ve been thrilled by the excellent turnout for this opening fixture, with 93 horses declared to run. Fourteen runners are set to contest the Whitsbury Manor/British EBF Lansdown Fillies Stakes, and we are especially pleased to welcome two Irish-trained participants who have travelled over to join us. With such a strong field across the card, all the signs point to a highly competitive day, and we’re sure there will be some thrilling finishes to enjoy.

Looking ahead, we’re excited about what’s to come this season, including several key fixtures:
* Bank Holiday Family Fun Day on 4th May – free entry for children, packed with family entertainment and picnic-friendly
* Friday 5th June – an evening of racing followed by a live DJ in the paddock
* Ladies Day on Saturday 13th June – a highlight of the social calendar with live music and dancing through the decades
* Friday 31st July – featuring live music from The Wurzels after racing
* Saturday 15th August – Rum and Reggae Night with live music
* Saturday 12th September – Absolute Country featuring a Morgan Wallen & Luke Coombs tribute
There truly is something for everyone.
For those wishing to enhance their raceday experience, limited spaces are available in the Paddock Pavilion Restaurant. Please visit the customer service point for further details. Our next fixture takes place on Friday 17th April, and we look forward to welcoming you back then.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all owners and trainers for their continued support. We are incredibly grateful to those who have chosen to run their horses with us today and at recent fixtures. Your commitment is vital to the success of our racedays, and we look forward to welcoming you and your teams throughout the 2026 season.
Finally, from everyone at Bath Racecourse, we wish you and your families a very Happy Easter and an enjoyable day with us. Thank you for joining us, we hope to see you again soon.
Hannah Chree Executive Director

It is an absolute pleasure to be sponsoring the Weatherbys Global StallionsAppHandicap at Bath this afternoon, a five-furlong contest withacompetitivefieldofninesetto lineup.
Believeinmenow heads the weights for Nigel Tinkler and, whilst still searching for a first victory, really caught the eye when ninth in a nursery handicap at York’s Ebor Festival last year. Although slowly away, he stayed on really strongly fromthereartobebeatenjustthree lengths, and closing all the way to the line. He returns to handicap companyherefromareducedmark.
Runamara won a maiden here at BathlasttermwhentrainedbyKevin Philippart De Foy and, now trained byJohnandRhysFlint, ranwellwhen runner-up at Kempton earlier this week.TheRibchestergeldingshapes as if he will be suited by this drop in trip and he holds strong claims if handling the quick turnaround. The stable is also represented by Sioux Nation filly Bellini Spirit here who didn’t stay the mile at Lingfield last time.Shediddisplayplentyofspeed over six furlongs at Chelmsford last year though, suggesting that this sort of trip could see her in a better lightonhandicapdebut.
Solar Invincible is also turned out quickly again, having finished fourth at Lingfield nine days ago. Roger Teal’s gelding was a bit short of room and hampered in the finish, ultimately going down by less than alength, andwillbelookingtomake amends with better fortune from an unchangedmarkhere.
Adrian Wintle’s Luna Beaux arrives here as the only last-time-out winner in the field, proving a real game winner and finding plenty for pressure when staying on to score byaneckatWolverhampton.Theinform Saxon Warrior filly continues to improve and can again be involved in the finish raised just 1lb by the handicapper.
Ardad colt Rogue Rebellion improved for the drop down to the minimum trip when winning at Lingfield in January and ran to aroundthesamelevelwhenrunnerup at Newcastle from a 3lb higher mark a month later. Formerly with James Owen, he makes his stable debut for Ronald Harris - who has a good record here at Bath. Beach Partee also makes his first start for a new trainer, now with Scott Dixon, and was last seen finishing a staying-on second at Lingfield for WilliamKnight.
