Al Basti Equiword, Dubai the UAE’s leading distributor or horse feeds and supplements proudly sponsors the Owners & Trainers facilities at Bath Racecourse
On behalf of everyone at Bath Racecourse, I am delighted to welcome you to our fourth fixture of the season and what promises to be a fantastic afternoon of racing.
I would like to begin with a huge thank you to our generous sponsors today – Carers Centre, Blast Event Hire, Bath Sports and Leisure Centre, Blackmore Building Contractors, DroneArt Show, and the family and friends of Lee Shaugnessy. Their continued commitment plays a vital role in making days like this possible and in supporting British racing.

We are so pleased that you have chosen to bring your families here to Bath Racecourse for our second Family Day of the year While every raceday is family friendly with children under 18 enjoying free entry at all of our fixtures we would especially love to welcome you back for our next family themed raceday on Sunday 13th September.
We are also excited to have launched our Summer at Bath series, back by popular demand. The fixtures within this campaign promise plenty of fun and fantastic entertainment, including:
• Friday 5th June – An evening of racing followed by a live DJ in the paddock
• Ladies Day – Saturday 13th June – A highlight of the social calendar, featuring live music and dancing through the decades
• Friday 31st July – Live music from The Wurzels after racing
• Saturday 15th August – Rum and Reggae Night with live music
• Saturday 12th September – Absolute Country, featuring a Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs tribute
There really is something for everyone, and we are so excited to welcome you throughout the season.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our raceday staff for their ongoing commitment and hard work. It truly does not go unnoticed, and days like this simply would not happen without you. I am extremely grateful to have you all as part of my team.
We hope you have a wonderful afternoon with us and look forward to seeing you again soon.
Hannah Chree Executive Director

Their key responsibility is to monitor and provide care to the competitors throughout their time at the racecourse. The locations and vehicle movements of these skilled specialists during racing are designed to provide a rapid response to any incident across the site. We also have a high-specification horse ambulance in attendance at every fixture to enable safe transport of a horse from the track to our on-site veterinary treatment facility for further treatment, or to the nearest equine referral hospital.
It is our standard practice to erect screens around any horse or jockey requiring attention on the course as this provides privacy and a safe, calm environment in which to accurately diagnose and treat the patient as necessary Please do not assume the worst if screens are erected around a horse. We are fully committed to minimizing risk in our sport, to dealing professionally and efficiently with any injury, and to maintaining the highest possible quality of care for the horses and jockeys racing here today. To find out more about our Equine Welfare policy, please visit our website www.bath-racecourse.co.uk.
