SBTi confirms that Ardo’s climate targets are on track Sustainability is embedded in Ardo’s DNA, with concrete actions as proof of our commitment. Our ambitions for 2035 are now set out in black and white, as a clear strategy. We are building on four guiding pillars: climate-resilient agriculture (MIMOSA+), climate mitigation and adaptation, sustainable sourcing and resource efficiency. We recently received independent confirmation regarding the second pillar, as the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated our short-term climate targets in line with the Paris Agreement. What does this mean in practice? By 2035, we will reduce our direct CO2 emissions by 65.56% (compared to 2020). We will also bring our suppliers on board, as many of them will need to have their own climate targets in place by 2030. Together, we are building a resilient supply chain and agricultural sector that will continue to provide us with healthy products in 2035.
