Special Issue on Arctic Pandemics: COVID-19 and other pandemic experiences and lessons learned.
A collection of 15 peer reviewed articles and 10 shorter contributions.
The authors come from across disciplines, regions, and ancestries, including many Indigenous and northern authors. The contributions are organized into: 1) state of knowledge, 2) Arctic responses from Alaska to Finland, and 3) Arctic impacts & innovations.
The pandemic was global, but the experiences and impacts in the Arctic were distinct. This volume tries to capture these to inform future responses.
