Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas Architectural Designer - Type Six Design & Development, 2023-24

This 160-room dual-brand hotel integrates Hilton Hampton Inn and Hilton Home2 Suites under a single roof, utilizing Type IIA construction. The design features a straightforward L-shaped layout, efficiently separating the two brands: Hampton Inn, catering to business and leisure travelers, occupies one wing, while Home2 Suites, designed for long-term guests seeking a residential ambiance, occupies the other. These distinct zones converge at a central circulation hub. The first level houses backof-house operations and thoughtfully designed shared spaces, fostering seamless functionality and interaction between the two brands.

On multiple projects of similar scale, I worked alongside project manager to deliver SD, DD, IFP (Issued for Permit), and CD phases while securing brand approval. I conducted site surveys, accompanied PM for construction administration, participated in client presentations, created visualizations, and coordinated with consultants.

02. Marriott

Residence Inn hotel

Associate - Type Six Design & Development, 2023-24

This 189-key, six-storey cold-formed steel hotel (Type II-B, NFPA 13) developed under Marriott brand standards and permitted under the 2021 IBC and City of Carrollton amendments. The project integrates full guestroom programming with activated ground-floor amenities including lobby, breakfast area, meeting rooms, fitness center, indoor pool, BOH operations, and structured site coordination.

As part of the architectural team, I contributed to permit documentation, guestroom plans and details, public area layouts, accessibility compliance, coordination with structural, MEP, and fire consultants, and façade development. The drawing set included full floor plans, RCPs, enlarged public area plans, guestroom layouts and details, exterior elevations, wall sections, and code compliance documentation, ensuring alignment with Marriott design standards and construction delivery requirements.

Led DD-level façade lighting integration and exterior color strategy. Calibrated vertical identity tower and base activation to enhance brand visibility and nighttime prominen`ce. Coordinated with lighting consultant and contractor to ensure constructability, performance, and brand compliance.

04. Towneplace Suites by Marriott

This Type V-A wood-frame Marriott property balances brand standards, cost efficiency, and clear façade articulation through a combination of brick, EIFS, and metal panel systems. The ground level integrates stone cladding and a defined entry canopy to establish a strong arrival experience aligned with TownePlace Suites brand identity.

I contributed to the development of the architectural construction documents, including exterior elevations, material callouts, and wall assembly coordination. My role focused on producing and refining permit and construction-level drawings, resolving façade transitions, and coordinating with structural and MEP consultants to ensure accuracy, consistency, and constructability. This experience strengthened my technical proficiency in hospitality documentation and reinforced my ability to translate design intent into coordinated, buildable drawings.

06. Royal Palace

Large-scale royal residential project in Doha Noida (India) and Doha (Qatar), 2018-19 SABS Architects & Engineers Architect position

Anultra-luxurious palace, inspired by sand dunes and designed for minimum heat gain. Received tender drawings and Rhino models along with visualizations for all three phases of the Project. Worked with teams in Noida and Doha, on Revit and CAD to produce construction documents. Participated in coordination meetings, modeling clash resolution, site visits, and mentored interns.

Antoine Predock Architects Jr Designer position

Inspired by Hojas—meaning “falling leaves”—this ninebedroom house cascades down a hill, its leaf-like roofs with knife-edge details maximizing views of the ocean.

It was an honor to work closely with FAIA Gold Medalist Antoine Predock, translating his vision of ‘body in motion’ into dynamic, three-dimensional spaces. My role included programming, planning, parametric modeling, 3D renderings, walkthroughs, and schematic & design development drawings for the 2 projects. I also assisted with material selection, interior design, and participated in client and consultant meetings.

This 13-bedroom house adapts to the topography like a snake, with a retaining wall housing all services and a car t ramp on top.

Located on the tranquil outskirts of bustling Delhi, surrounded by lush farmlands and the distant Aravalli Hills, the house emerges like a delicate embryo nestled within the landscape. Its presence gradually unfolds as one meanders through the organic farm, revealing itself in harmony with nature.

Our client, a trustee of Auroville—the visionary township often called the “City of the Future”—drew inspiration from its Master Plan. Rooted in the form of a spiral galaxy, the design symbolizes dynamic movement, interconnectedness, and a seamless balance between urban and natural environments.

All materials for the project were sourced within 200 km from the site. Worked under project manager on design development, interior drawings, preparing detailed construction documents, budgeting, client presentation, site visit documentation and consultant coordination.

First, we plotted 50 random points on paper. Next, we folded it origami style to derive abstract architecture form & function. I designed a walking martian human habitat with foldable ETFE rooms and a kinetic titanium shield skin.

The EFTE facade system has 3 layered cushions with a pneumatic sun shade system. When the cushions inflate or deflate, the system allows for the adjustment of the solar transmitance. Each cushion has a sensor with an IP address to perform individually (Distributed performance).

Aeroponics Absorb sunlight, while water evaporating through their leaves lowers nearby air temperatures. Inflatable ETFE controls sunlight creating a micro-climate inside. Water mist system running through the ceiling and dendophile columns would let plants grow downwards from ceilings, out of direct human reach but clearly visible, creating a biophilic environment for students to learn.
