Anadiplosis is a parametric urban intervention proposing the conversion of abandoned kiosks across Rethymno, Crete into a network of social public spaces, open libraries, exhibition areas, information points and community meeting spaces.
Developed within the Parametric Design course at the Technical University of Crete in collaboration with the Municipality of Rethymno and the 2nd Primary School of Rethymno, the project proposes digitally parametrized wooden structures adaptable to different sizes, uses, topographies and orientations. Physical prototypes were built at 1:1 scale.
The project was featured in RethNea and Kamaraki.gr upon completion and formally adopted by the Municipality of Rethymno for implementation.
