The pro-cathedral was Perth's first Catholic church, commenced in 1843, and later the cathedral of its first bishop, in 1846. It is on Victoria Avenue and is being restored as a memorial to pioneer Catholics and as a museum of the Church in Western Australia. Donations to the restoration may be sent to the Archbishop.
