(NC). For the first time in history, an entire television programme in Yugoslavia has been predicated to religious problems in the socialist nation.

The hour-long programme which went to air at the end of November, included interviews with Christian and Moslem leaders, ,including Belgrade's Archbishop Gabriel Bukatko. The show, entitled, "The Church in Serbia," had interviews with lay people and priests, as well as segments of religious services. According to the radio, the show aimed to give the impression of basic Church -State harmony on religious questions. But, said the Vatican broadcast, almost oll those interviewed pointed to specific difficulties stemming from the failure of local leaders to apply certain laws favouring religion.
