They are the Congregations of the Sisters of Mercy in the dioceses of Adelaide, Arrnidale, Bathurst, Canberra-Goulburn, Maitland, Melbourne, Perth (Victoria Square foundation) and Wilcannia-Forbes. The union was requested by the Sisters themselves. Conditions of the union and instructions on procedure have been received from the Holy See.
