On Sunday, the Feast of Christ the King, in brilliant sunshine, a crowd estimated at over 10,000 attended the annual Eucharistic procession at Aquinas college, Mt. Henry.

People began to congregate from 10 a.m. onwards, and many of them travelled long A heavy stream of distances to be present. traffic passed into the college grounds between noon and 2.30 p.m. The gates to the college closed to traffic at 3.15 p.m. Buses were heavily taxed to transport the large crowds still waiting in the city. Carmel, Brothers and other Religious, flowerstrewers, preceding the Blessed Sacrament, and finally the Archbishop, carrying the Blessed Sacrament beneath a white canopy. When the Blessed Sacrament had again been enthroned, the occasional sermon was preached by the V. Rev. W. Cowan, 0.M.I.
