CHRISTMAS BROADCAST On this and following pages we present to-day one of the greatest social documents ever penned-the address of the Holy Father to his children throughout the world. broadcast from Vatican Radio on Christmas Eve. The full text of the address has just reached Australia through America. In contrast with his inspiring message, 1941 when he dealt with prin. ciples necessary for the establishment of international order and collaboration, His Holiness now lays dawn the fundamental laws of the internal order of States and peoples. Outspokenly he condemns that coat eption of juridical order which claims for particular nations or races an over -lordship from which none may appeal. Reinforcing the teachings of the great social encyclicals, the Holy Father's message pleads again for the welfare of the worker and cries for protection of the family against exploitation by private capital or the
