decided to hold the College Welcome the Town Hall. Concert in Town Hall. the The grand concert given by Presentation Convent and College pupils, assisted by several of the leading artistes in town, to welcome his Excellency the Apostolic Delegate, took place in the Town Hall on MonThere was day night, the 3rd. ult. standd large attendance, the members :lig and applauding as his Excellency entered the hall, accompanied by Mr. Kim Bishop Kelly and clergy-. Holmes's orchestra excelled itself both in the opening number and later on, The when an encore was demanded. pupils of the Convent and College made a fine impression in their song of welcome, and the greeting to his Excellency was delivered by Miss Vera Smyth, in a graceful style, another feature being its clear enunciation. This was followed by a presentation from the pupils of a beautifully illuminated address of artistic design, the handiwork of the Presentation Nuns. The groundwork was a painting 'les water colours of Geraldton, with its usual azure sky and golden sun -set, which are reflected in the rippling wavelets of the bay. their town." DONGARRA VISITED. On Tuesday week last, the 4th. May, his Excellency the Apostolic Delegate, Most Rev. Bartolomeo Cattaneo, D.D., LL.D., Archbishop of Palmyra paid The Delegate, a visit to Dongarra. accompanied by his Lordship Bishop Kelly and Rev. Dr. O'Donnell (secretary to his Excellency), motored from Geraldton, and arrived at Dongarra at 11.30. The car was appropriately decorated with the Papal colours, and as the party came within view of the Priory, they were greeted with hearty cheers and the gay sound At the entrance gate of joy bells. they were met by Rev.
