The great problem in dealing with the Sheep Blow Fly Pest is to get a trap that will kill flies effectively, and yet not kill the enemy of the fly, which is

the ant.

Fulfills every requirement of a perfect fly destroyer. It is simple and takes very little looking after. It consists of a dark chamber into which the flies enter in search of decoy which they are unable to get at, and finding them. selves in a dark place, naturally seek the light, which they enter through a gauze cone and are unable to return, soon perishing for want of moisture. Upwards of 2000 of the principal sheepowners in New South Wales have ietz orders ranging from trial lots to 1000 traps. One Sheepowner Caught 82,000 in 18 Days.
