Hundreds of women from around Western Australia and Perth are expected to attend a women's forum in Perth on March 14 to express their concern about abortion and its impact on women. Women's Forum Australia will run the forum for women to "stand together and declare that we deserve better than abortion" at the University of WA's Octagon Theatre, and will feature speakers from across the political spectrum including Kate Doust, MLC (ALP), Barbara Scott, MLC (Liberals) and Katie Hodson-Thomas,

Agency reveals donations from WA to Caritas smashed the one million dollar barrier last year

Perth Catholics' donations to Caritas Australia have passed the $1 million mark for the first time during the 2005-06 financial year.
