Four Archbishops and 13 Bishops are due to be on hand to welcome Bishop Donald Sproxton into the Episcopate when he is ordained in St Mary's Cathedral on Thursday night. Ten of them are visitors from other States: the Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Canalini. Archbishop Hart of Melbourne. Archbishop Wilson of Adelaide, Bishop Crenin representing Archbishop Pell of Sydney. and Bishops Hurley of Port Pine, Jarrett of Lismore, Mayne of the Military Ordinariate of Australia. Putney of Townsville, and Walker of Broken Bay. and Bishop-Elect Finnigan who is to be Auxiliary Bishop of Brisbane. The West Australian Episcopate will be headed by Archbishop Hickey and will include Bishops Holohan of Bunbury.
