A new bio-ethics centre is to be named in honour of Archbishop Goody and its director for the next four years is to be Father William Uren SJ. The L.J. Goody Bio-Ethics Centre will have secretarial and resource rooms provided by the St John of God Hospital, Subiaco.
The major part of its funding will come from private donors providing $25,000 along with $7000 from the archdiocese of Perth, for the initial year's operation.
