Presentation Sister Mary Eugene Robertson who was at the centre of last Sunday's attempted plane hijack, has more reason than most of her fellow passengers to still be feeling anxious over the event. A spokeswoman at lona Convent, Mosman Park, this week said that a phone call to Sister Eugene in Melbourne had found her still suffering from delayed shock over the incident.

Sister Eugene was on her way to Melbourne to become the first WA Presentation sister to do t he theology and scripture-based course in rel igious renewal offered at A ssumption Institute.
Myra Brown a final year medical student in Perth, recently spent eight weeks in Pakistan, doing a summer vacation medical elective. She worked alongside six St John of God sisters, a Perth missionary doctor, and two Australian volunteer nurses who direct Bethania Catholic Hospital in the Punjab.

Sister Eugene came to Australia from Ireland nearly 30 years ago and most recently has been teaching at St Brigid's school, Collie. She sensed that the hijacker was nervous as he sat next to her on the flight when at one stage he took up her prayer book thinking it was a bible.
