IMMEDIATE NEEDS The chartered barge will begin ferrying supplies to Dili, capital of 'East Timor, within a fortnight if public contributions make their purchase possible. Mr. Byrne said that the agencies had an immediate need for $250,000 for supplies for refugees on both sides of the fighting in Timor. These included $3,000 for seeds to begin new crop plantings, $178,000 for corn, flour, rice and powdered milk, $49,000 for medicines and health supplies, $4,000 for clothing and $15,500 for fuel and transport. Mr. Byrne said that orders for the relief sup-
