Church's attitude to conscience on birth control ADELAIDE. — Sincere Catholics who are conscientiously unable to
accept Pope Paul's teaching on birth control "have certainly not cut themselves off from the Church," Archbishop Gleeson said last week.
-
About 600 people attended the rock Mass at Kellebrerrin at which there were, with the Archbishop, five concelebrants — Monsignor Cameron, Fathers Cooney ( York ), P. G. J. O'Reilly, Chris Flamer (Corrigin) and O'Malley ( Kellerberrin ). T here were 15 minutes of folk hymn singing before the Mass and this went very well. The weather was suitable and at the Mass there was a wide range of parishioners from Southern Cross to Guildford, Corrigin to Mukinbuc-iin and Subiaco. The Mass was a Holy Year function. A barbecue luncheon was :followed by sports for the children.
