Above is a scene on the historic day last weekend when Archbishop Goody made history for the archdiocese by ordaining to the priesthood the biggest group of men ordained for future work in the archdiocese.

dination, newly-ordained priests are the principal concelebrants at the Mass of their ordination, together with the ordaining bishop. Other principal concelebrants on this occasion were parish priests of t he ordinands' respective parishes, the Episcopal Vicar for Clergy. Father R. Healy, the Rector of St. Charles Seminary, Father G. Scott, C. M., and the Archdiocesan Director of Vocations. Father W. Foley. On the day after the ordination, large congregations filled each of the respecthe parish churches of North Fremantle (Father O'Loughlin). East Victoria Pk. (Father Bianchini), Scarborough (Father McKenna), Bassendean (Father Jegorow), Morley (Father Orzanski) and Mirrahooka '(Father Dwyer), where the newly-ordained priests concelebrated festival Masses of thanksgiving with the parishioners for the honour that had been conferred on them.
