The programme for the first day of the Irish Week is as follows: Children's Fancy Dress, Boxing Exhibition by The Sunnyside Boxing Club", Irish Dancing Competition. The following dances will be contested: Reel, Soft Shoe Jig and Slip Jig. There is also The Shamrock Social Club (INC), St. Patrick's Day Perpetual Cup for the Hornpipe. This competition is open to all dancers in W.A., Whether they are members of a Dancing School or tot, Gaelic Football Match starting at 3 p.m. Medals will be presented to the winners after the match by Mr. T. H. Bateman, MLA, Tug-o-War, various other activities.
