Sacred Pallium for Archbishop ON Sunday, June 29, the senior suffragan Bishop of the Province of Perth, Most Rev. J. Jobst, D.D., S.A.C., Bishop of B roome, will impose the Sacred Pallium in the name of His Holiness Pope Paul VI upon His Grace the Archbishop. The c eremony of imposition will take place in St. Mary's Cathedral, Perth, at 11 a.m. in the presence of all the suffragan Bishops of the Province. These are Bishop Thomas of Geraldton, The Lord Abbot of New Norcia, and Bishop McKeon of Sunbury. For the occasion Bishop Jobst will celebrate Pontifical High Mass at the faldstool, at which His Grace will preside. After the Communion of the Mass His Grace will retire to the Sacred Heart Chapel to vest in full Pontifical Vestments and proceed in procession to the Sanctuary. After the 24th Passing Out Parade at H.M.A.S. Leeuwin last Tuesday, Sister M. Xavier of St. oJhn of God Hospital, Belmont, congratulates her nephew, Junior Recruit Chris Yeoman of Townsyille, Queensland. Nearly 200 passing out Recruits, now on their way to ships of the Fleet, were reviewed by Admiral R. I. Peek, Chief of Naval Personnel, who told the young sailors the Navy had an urgent need for many more trained adn disciplined personnel. 200 more young recruits from all parts of Australia will enter H.M.A.S. First Anniversary

All the suffragan Bishops of the Province will be concelebrants with His Grace the Archbishop at a Solemn Pontifical Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Cathedral, Perth, at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday, June 28 The Mass will be offered on the first anniversary of the death of the late Archbishop Redmond Prendiville. Priests attending will be able to vest in the Cathedral chapter hall. Parking for clergy and religious will be available in the grounds of Mercedes College, Goderich Street entrance.
