AN UNIIIPORTO JUDGMBT IN a significant yet little publicised judgment, the Full High Court of Australia recently set aside a decision of the New South Wales Court of Appeal in relation to indecent printed matter and restored the convictions of four men. This judgment in this contentious area is highly important and is sure to affect future proceedings involving indecent publications. In delivering their judgment in the case, a number of the High Court judges expressed firm views on indecent literature.
