MAYBE YOU CAN HELP! IR, S Mr. David Kearney, of Upper Main Street., Movvane. Co. Derry, Ireland, has been in contact with this Embassy in an endeavour to trace the children of an aunt of his, Mrs. Johanne Jones, whose maiden name was Culhane, who came from .Askeaton, Co. Limerick, went to Australia in 1894 and subsequently married —apparently in Fremantle. She had, it is said. three sons, one of whom fought with the Australian Army in France in the first
World War. These are all the details available and as you will see they are not sufficient to make official enquiries. As however Miss Culhane was a Catholic, we wonder if it might be possible to ask your assistance in the hope that any of your readers might know of this family. The Embassy would be very grateful for any assistance you might feel able to give. Yours, etc.. F. OTIORDAN, First Secretary, Embassy of Ireland, Canberra,
