EDUCATION Minister Lewis, speaking at the opening of the new St. Norbert College and priory in Treasure Road, Queens Park, last Sunday, commented on a proposal to change the system of religious instruction in State high schools. Mr. Lewis said that because of the upsurge in the number of State high schools and with the accompanying increase in the number of students, the churches were finding it increasingly difficult to provide adequate religious instruction in schools.
