Council Closing Date
ROPE PAUL has an nounced that the Second Vatican Council will close. on December 8, the feast of the Immaculate Conception. The closing ceremony is expected to be similar to the one which opened the Council on October 11, 1962, with heads of State invited and no voting or promulgation of conciliar documents. Pope Paul also announced that a formal public vote on whatever documents remain will take place at a solemn ceremony on December 7.
