Further Changes May Be Made In Mass ,By FATHER PLACID JORDAN, O.S.B. THE Commission for Implementation of the Constitution on the Liturgy has met in Rome to study the proposals to make the Mass and the administration of the other sacraments simpler and more readily understood by the people. The commission, headed by Giacomo Cardinal Lercaro of Bologna, began a week-long session when the Ecumenical Council was in recess. High on the agenda for the meeting was a demonstration of a "new look" for the Ordinary of the Mass submitted by Monsignor Johannes Wagner, chairman of the committee on the Mass and director of the liturgical institute at Trier, Germany. The plan developed by Monsignor Wagner's body would seek to restore "the noble simplicity" 4., in the rite of Mass called for in the Constitution i To celebrate their narrow win in the Inter School 1 on the Liturgy, which was enacted by the Council Sports, members of the senior Aquinas College in 1963. team had a party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L.
