It is significant that Voroshiloy was not a member of the court-martial which tried the generals. But he is too popular to be stricken down at one blow. It is likely that he will gradually fall from grace; and, when his 7eputation has faded, then the final blow will fall. But these suppositions may be wrong The atmosphere of intrigue and panic which surrounds the Dictator is shrouded in mystery. In this latest holocaust, which surely will nauseate even the blindest apologist for the U.S.S.R.. a new feature can be seen.
