A feature of the afternoon was the efficient organisation of the meeting. and the colourful presentation of the competitors. For this much credit is due to the official and the energetic and capable Association Secretary. Mrs. A. C. Gilchrist. Amongst the judges were Messrs. C. J. Wrobleski. L. Duignan. C. Dudley, L. Hackett and H. Gepp. Dr. J. W. Horan and Mr. I. M. Lavan acted as result stewards. Time-keepers were Messrs. L. J. McDowell, T. F. Lalor, and A. D. Scott, while lifessrs. H. R. Brown and P. Col. h er. junr., and the Misses .1. McNamara. C. Hall. N. Healy and F. Sullivan, acted as stewards, and were assisted by Messrs. K. Brown and L. de Mamie]. Mr. W. H. Whiteman acted as official starter, while the well known and popular sporting authority-Mr. Leo Ryan-acted as referee. That the results announced were satisfactory to all concerned is a tribute to his impartialit - and efficiency.
