Curley Alumni Brothers, Pax et Bonum! Welcome to October - the month where cobwebs become decorations and candy becomes a food group!

It was great seeing so many of you at the September general meeting. Let's keep the momentum going into Fall as we offer opportunities to grow in faith, Curley Pride and school spirit. October begins with Transitus, a moving tribute to St. Francis as we commemorate his passing from earthly to eternal life on the evening of October 3, 1226. The service takes place at Curley, October 3rd, beginning at 7pm. That leads us into Spirit Week with a PreHomecoming rally at Della Rose's Perry Hall Pub, Friday October 10th at 7pm, and Homecoming on the 11th. Join us in the Bowl for the alumni soccer game at 9am and the dedication and blessing of the Citro Pavilion at 10:45. Cheer along with the Drumline as Curley Soccer and Football take the field, shop the campus store, fuel up in the alumni tent, and so much more. It's going to be a great day!

Share your professional journey with current students on Career Day, October 22nd. We have dozens of alumni coming back to tell their stories and would love to have you join us. Reach out to Steve Streckfus(sstreckfus@archbishopcurley.or g) to be part of this event. Finally, newly added, is a November 9th Ravens Watch Party in the SDR as the Ravens battle the Minnesota Vikings. We will also be collecting gifts for our Christmas toy drive at this event. The Class of '68 stopped by The Bowman for lunch last month. The group announced there will not be an October lunch, but hopes to meet again in November.

Joseph Gibbons announced his retirement after 47 years of working in the field of metering pumps and instrumentation following his graduation from Mt. St. Mary's College in 1978. The Gibbons family happily resides in Oviedo, FL, but is planning frequent visits to Maryland for Curley alumni reunions.

Tyler Ihle and his wife, Kristen, are now a party of three as proud new parents of Ellie Rosemarie, born September 12.
