In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the creation of Hoban's Purchase Prize Award, Hoban hosted a reception for past award recipients and this year's student award winners.
The Hoban Purchase Prize is a recognition program to honor and display the most outstanding work of Hoban art students. Their work is purchased, framed and displayed on the walls throughout the school. From all the student artwork produced each year, the fine arts department faculty selects the top 10 pieces. These works are shared with the faculty and staff so that they can vote on their favorite artworks. The works are anonymous so that the pieces would be judged solely on artistic merit.
