Arcadia Contemporary is proud to present the US debut of “From the Perspective of
the Angels,” a new solo exhibition from multi-award winning artist Frances Featherstone. Through the use of geometric patterns and vivid oil colors, Featherstone has found in her work that the ordinary can become fascinating by simply changing the perspective. These pieces venture beyond the constraints of conventional perception and seek to challenge our normal sense of space.
Born in England in 1976, Frances Featherstone is an artist whose work is guided by an appreciation for storytelling, using narratives to fill her paintings with ideas and conceptual depth. She works predominantly in oil paints, blending colors which allow her the versatility to freely shape the stories and narratives that serve as the heart of her work. Small
