Arcadia Contemporary will make its debut presentation at Expo Chicago with a curated selection of new paintings by Michael Chapman, Fernando Cidoncha, Matthew Cornell, Frances Featherstone, Stephen Fox, Ivan Franco Fraga, Miriam Hoffmann, Brad Kunkle, Malcolm T. Liepke, Jeremy Lipking, Alberto Ortega, Jeffrey Ripple, Denis Sarazhin, Daniel Sprick, Arinze Stanley, Jesse Stern, Hideo Tanaka, Alex Venezia, and Aron Wiesenfeld.
The presentation pairs established figures with more recent additions to the gallery’s roster, highlighting a range of approaches within contemporary representational painting, from intimate interiors and psychological portraiture to expansive narrative scenes and atmospheric landscapes. While each artist maintains a distinct visual language, the works share a sustained commitment to observation, craftsmanship, and personal interpretation.
The booth serves as a concise survey of the gallery’s program and reflects Arcadia Contemporary’s twenty-five years of representing painters working within and expanding the tradition today.
