Waste Collection Guidelines
Proper waste segregation is important because to keep Service Fee low. General Waste (Black Bin) collection costs AED 9.25 + VAT per bin, while Recyclable Waste (Green Bin) collection is free of charge. If your Waste Collection company identifies incorrect segregation the bin will not be collected, leading to waste accumulation, hygiene issues, and possible additional costs to the community.

Two-Stream Segregation: Residents are required to separate waste into two main categories using colorcoded bins:
Recyclable Bins: For recyclable materials such as paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, and metal cans. Household Waste Bins: For general (non-recyclable) waste.

Rinse containers to remove food or liquid residue before placing them in recycling bins to avoid contamination.
Bulk Waste & Special Items:
Items such as furniture, mattresses, electrical appliances, construction or renovation debris, and garden/green waste are classified as bulky waste and must not be placed in regular bins. Residents are kindly requested to arrange a separate pickup by calling 800 23324 (800 BEEAH) or 800 826 3333 (800 TANDEEF). Please note that the community waste collection team is not authorized to remove bulk items or electrical appliances, and improper disposal may result in non-collection.
Garden & Yard Waste:
Please do not throw garden green waste into the recycling bins. Tie it properly in black plastic bags before disposal. And leave it next to the General Waste Bin for Collection.
MANDATORY USE OF GREEN BINS FOR RECYCLING ONLY

As part of our ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and responsible waste management within the community, we would like to remind all residents of the correct use of the green recycling bins.
Please note the following important guidelines:
Green bins are strictly for recyclable materials only (e.g. paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, cans, and other approved recyclables)
General waste, food waste, or mixed waste must not be placed in green bins.
If a green bin contains non-recyclable or mixed waste, it will be considered contaminated.
In such cases, Bee’ah will not collect the green bin, even if recyclable materials are present.
Green bins used for general waste will not be collected.
Kindly be advised that recycling collection is provided free of charge only when bins are used correctly for recyclables.
