This season, the Bears and Titans met in the regular season March 12, when Cambridge came out on top, 14-9, after a furious scoring frenzy in the third quarter. Both Cambridge and BT came into the title game on a postseason tear, putting up 19 or more goals on their first three opponents in the tournament. Both were hungry, with significant senior classes on each side who were unwilling to go home empty-handed for their last opportunity to win a GHSA championship.
