MILTON, Ga. — It has been three months since an assisted living home in Milton lost electric utility service. Vitality Living Milton lost power April 1 and has been operating on generators since. Its emails to families of residents go back and forth, with high expectations one day and dashed hopes the next. Some family members say they are anxious, frustrated and wary. “The ongoing power issue at Vitality has been extremely stressful for my mother, who is legally blind,” Alpharetta resident and former City Councilwoman Karen Richard said. “I am fortunate to live only a few minutes away, which has allowed me to respond quickly to the power interruptions and outages that have occurred over the past three months.”
