The girls played first in a ranked matchup between the Bears at consensus No. 3 and the Gladiators sitting in the top 10 but fluctuating depending on the outlet doing the rankings. The teams now have equivalent records at 13-4.

GIRLS: BEARS 16, GLADIATORS 11 BOYS: GLADIATORS 16, BULLDOGS 4 Bears head coach Maria Hansen took over this year after former coach Pam Masinko stepped down. The team is full steam ahead with their next goal of three straight titles. “We played aggressive today,” Hansen said. “We played well together as a team.” Cambridge led the game wire-towire. Senior Gabi Johnson played against a familiar rival for the last

time and went out with a bang. Finishing on six of eight shots and collecting four assists, nine draw controls and six loose ball controls, she led the team in all statistical categories. Another midfielder, sophomore Linden Donner was right behind Johnson with four goals, an assist, eight draw controls and two loose ball controls. Donner has been a consistent stronghold on the circle for the Bears the past two seasons.
