Daffodil Days ushers in springtime By HAYDEN SUMLIN hayden@appenmedia.com JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Because daffodils emerge from the ground each spring, the bright yellow flowers symbolize new beginnings and the joy of sunny days.
Johns Creek’s second annual Daffodil Days, held outside City Hall from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 13, saw hundreds of families turn out to peruse the vendors at the Children’s Entrepreneur Market. Attendees were treated to several food trucks, a live DJ and kids’ activities, with
an inflatable obstacle course certainly the most popular. Last year, a week of volunteer efforts culminated in the Daffodil Days Market, which featured around 60 artisans, food trucks and kids’ activities.
