A turf field is expected to last eight to 10 years, or about $100,000 a year. City Councilman John Heneghan, the only elected official who advocated for funding construction of the turf field, had the item added to the agenda after it was last discussed in August during the 2025 budget process.

DUNWOODY, Ga. —Tim Brown is the new president of the Dunwoody Homeowners Association, replacing Bob Fiscella after his four years at the helm. He joined the BROWN DHA’s executive board earlier this year, and the nominating committee named him president for at least the next 12 months. Brown, who spoke with Appen Media after he was announced as president in late February, said there is little he wishes to change at the homeowner’s association. “It’s not a complicated process, but it’s certainly an important one for the leadership to carry on from year to year,” Brown said. “I’m humbled and honored that they’ve given me the opportunity to take the reins for a year.” The Dunwoody Homeowners Association represents a sizeable
