Dunwoody Garden Club plans formal dedication for Blue Star Memorial DUNWOODY, Ga. — The Dunwoody Garden Club will hold a Blue Star Memorial Marker dedication ceremony July 2 as part of the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. The marker will be unveiled at 5:30 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial in Brook Run Park. The ceremony will also feature the Sons of the American Revolution Color Guard, appearing in full historical uniform. Following the dedication, the Callanwolde Concert
Band will perform patriotic tunes at the Brook Run Amphitheatre. There will also be food and familyfriendly activities. The Blue Star Memorial program honors all men and women that serve in the United States Armed Services. It began in 1944 when the New Jersey Council of Garden Clubs planted 8,000 Dogwood trees as a living memorial to World War II veterans.

DUNWOODY, Ga. — Create Dunwoody is taking advantage of World Cup fever by kicking off a community-wide “Soccer Ball Art Exhibit” to give residents of all ages a chance to turn soccer balls into original works of art. The project celebrates creativity, community engagement and the excitement of summer soccer by showcasing decorated balls at three dedicated Soccer Ball Art Walls. The displays will
