DUNWOODY, Ga. — Dunwoody High School golf teams swept the DeKalb County golf championship, taking home first place for both the girls and boys teams for the second straight year. It was the boys’ 19th championship win and the girls’ eighth and the seventh sweep. At the county tournament held at Mystery Valley Golf Club in Lithonia, two Dunwoody
sophomores scored the lowest totals over the 18 holes. Elizabeth Hanlon posted her second straight top score in the DeKalb championship, improving from 87 to 82 this year. She led her team to its third straight county championship. The girls’ team lost three seniors last year who were major contributors, but this year the Wildcats have shown no signs of letting up.
