A BIG THANK YOU TO DR. ROBIN GROCE! Dr. Robin Groce has served as interim dean in the Reich College of Education (RCOE) for the past two years. She will take a fall semester sabbatical; on her return she will teach in the Department of Reading Education and Special Education in the RCOE for the spring semester. Groce has conducted an extensive amount of research in her time as professor and has been published in a variety of journals including Reading Horizons, Social Studies and the Young Learner, and Reading Improvement. Her dedication to service and improving the lives of students at Appalachian extends to her support of the Parent to Parent Organization within the RCOE.

The camp will be held from August 2nd - August 5th (Tues.-Fri.) at Camp Sky Ranch in Boone, NC. The hours are 9AM-2PM. This camp is open to campers of all ages and all abilities!! Each day will be a different theme and will be filled with fun camp activities. Campers will be encouraged to dress according to the day's theme (but, not required!). The campers will be paired up with a camp volunteer each day (their "buddy" for the week!).
