Each year, Appalachian awards more than $4 million to students based on need and academic achievement and enrolls hundreds of students into selective academic programs.
Appalachian scholars demonstrate outstanding academic and leadership abilities. Our faculty will challenge you to learn new methods of leadership, build your capacity to think in divergent ways, help you engage in critical inquiry and discover your passion through research and performance. For consideration, you must submit an application for admission by November 1, and by November 15, also complete all supplemental application materials and submit a scholarship application.
