AGP Commercial Dimensional Tolerance Document for Insulating Glass Unit (IGU) & single glass pane.
The following tolerances may be narrowed by contractual agreement. Any such narrowing must be agreed to by an AGP Account Manager in writing, in advance of order placement.
Height and width of an IGU or single glass pane .
When a dimension is quoted for rectangular shapes the first dimension shall be the height, and the second dimension the width As shown in figure 1 below, when related to the installed position.
Note: For items containing directional patterned glass, the customer must specify the direction of the pattern relative to one of the dimensions.

Figure 2 – Dimension (H&W) tolerance limits .
Table 1 – Allowable dimensional tolerances of insulating glass units

For stepped IGU the above tolerances apply, the specified step dimension shall be added.
Table 2 – Allowable dimensional tolerances for individual glass panes.

Table 3 – Allowable diagonal difference for an insulating glass unit .

Table 4 – Allowable diagonal difference for an individual glass pane.

Thickness tolerance along the periphery of an IGU.
The thickness shall be measured between the outside glass surfaces of an IGU, at each corner & at approximate centre point of each edge. The values shall be measured to 0.01mm accuracy and declared to the nearest 0.1mm. The measured thickness shall not vary from the nominal thickness ordered by more than the tolerances shown in table 5.

Table 6 – Allowable thickness tolerances for an individual glass pane .

Table 6, For laminated glass, the allowable thickness tolerance does not include the interlayer thickness.
For glass thicknesses greater than those stated in these tables, tolerances are to be agreed to by an AGP Account Manager in writing, in advance of order placement.
All dimensional tolerances listed here exclude CNC processed glass (refer to AGP CNC processing guide for CNC dimensional tolerances).
For Custom EVA & Sentry laminated product tolerance refer to AGP guide to visual quality commercial
