CARE & CUSTODY: PAST RESPONSES TO MENTAL HEALTH EXHIBIT TUESDAY, JANUARY 17 - FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24 Santori Library – Atrium This banner exhibit and companion website explore the treatment of people with mental health conditions throughout historybringing to light the tension that has existed between care and custody.

WALK-IN COVID-19 TESTING MONDAYS, FROM 9:30 A.M. TO 12:30 P.M. WEDNESDAYS, FROM 12 TO 3 P.M. FRIDAYS, FROM 11 A.M. TO 2 P.M. Santori Library – Room 126 Come for free Covid-19 testing provided by SHIELD Illinois. Testing is salvia-based and results are available within 24-48 hours. A phone with texting capability is needed, and masks are required.

BOB ROSS PAINTING PARTY* FRIDAY, MARCH 31 AT 1 P.M. Santori Library – Hurrell Storytime Room Learn how to paint like the one and only Bob Ross! During this hour and a half class, you'll create your own masterpiece to enjoy at home. Ages 8 - 11.

SAYING YES TO YOUR STORY: CONVERSATION WITH KWAME ALEXANDER* WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 8 AT 7 P.M. Virtual via Zoom Join us for an evening with best-selling and award-winning children’s and young adult author and poet, Kwame Alexander! As a creator of more than 36 books, Kwame will energize our community to harness the power of words and storytelling for change.
