InaprojectsponsoredbytheIllinoisLegislativeLatinoCaucusFoundation,17Latinxstate legislatorsidentifiedunsungcommunityheroesintheirdistricts.Afterparticipatingina workshoptodiscussthe‘hero'sjourney’andhowitappliedtothem,eachherocreatedan avatartorepresenttheirstrengths,journey,andobstaclestheyhadovercome.
Theunsungheroeswhocreatedtheavatarscamefrommanywalksoflife,including organizationalfoundersandleaders,entrepreneursandbusinesspeople,artists,activists,and otherindividualswhohavemadeadifference.

EnunproyectopatrocinadoporlaFundacióndelCaucusLatinoLegislativodeIllinois,17legisladores estataleslatinosidentificaronahéroescomunitariosanónimosensusdistritos.Despuésde participarenuntallerparadiscutirel"viajedelhéroe"ycómoseaplicabaaellos,cadahéroecreó unavatarpararepresentarsusfortalezas,suviajeylosobstáculosquehabiasuperado.
