Welcome to Southern 8ths Farm Southern 8ths Farm invites you to become a sponsor of our annual So8ths/Nikon Three-Day Event which takes place May 3-6 in Chesterfield, SC. While we are still in our infancy, in just a few short years we have been recognized as one of the premier horse farms for training Amateur level riders and horses. Southern 8ths Farm offers Amateur riders all the tools they need to improve their riding and professional riders the amenities needed to train their up-and-coming horses. Our hands-on practice facilities will produce confident, safe and educated competitors who are better prepared to compete. We cater to Amateur riders who want a secure and comfortable place to ride, young riders looking to develop their skills and professionals who have younger and less experienced horses they want to train at a facility that is first class. This is the second year of our annual event and there are many reasons why you should consider a sponsorship:
We are just starting (this will be our third year) but our future is bright and those who start with us will grow with us.
We have a wide assortment of “Official” exclusive sponsorships for your business or service. Once they are claimed then no similar business or service will be allowed to have that “Official” title.
So8ths/Nikon Three-Day Event is paving the way for those horses and riders who want and need to compete at the Beginner Novice through Training levels. In 2012 it was the FIRST EVENT where the Beginner Novice and Novice levels were recognized at the Three-Day level and FOR THE FIRST TIME received national points. It’s a battle we fought and won and you can be part of this new and growing Beginner Novice and Novice USEA recognized Three-Day Event that also offers Training level.

MORE DETAILS WHAT: So8ths/Nikon Three-Day Event – A Long Format Beginner Novice, Novice and Training Level Three-Day Event, which has been coined the Amateur rider’s “Rolex.” It’s the event where Beginner Novice, Novice and Training level riders or horses can negotiate their ultimate Long Format test in a USEA recognized T3D, N3D and BN3D event. WHEN: TBD WHY: Southern 8ths goal is to become the premier horse park for amateur Eventers and professional riders training up-and-coming horses. The farm offers introductory modern training level facilities. The goal is to give Eventers all the tools they need to improve their riding and to revolutionize how average adults/amateurs successfully ride and train their horses. This is possible because Southern 8ths Farm offers hands-on practice techniques that will produce confident, safe and educated competitors who are better prepared to compete. The goal is to also offer professional riders a quality facility where they can train their horses and young riders as the future of our sport are always welcome. SOUTHERN 8THS FARM: A beautiful 300 acre state-of-the-art premier Long Format equestrian training center. It is a horse lover’s playground with a Steeplechase track, multiple Cross-Country and Show Jumping venues, Dressage rings, a Derby course and miles of groomed trails. The facilities also include a modern 38-stall Guest Barn, RV hookups and large Covered Arena. WHERE: 305 Lucious Davis Road (off of 5031 Jackson Road West), Chesterfield, SC 29709. VOLUNTEER PROGRAM: Southern 8ths Farm is always reaching out to add volunteers who will contribute their time, talent and energy to help build and support this local venue and all it will bring to the community. Anyone can volunteer. No horse experience needed. Simply go to the Southern 8ths web site and fill out the volunteer form. Volunteers receive something to keep the memory alive such as a hat, t-shirt, coupons, free schooling, and facility use for clubs and associations (for volunteer groups).
