The ARCN Social Club is all about bringing neighbors together and creating a stronger sense of community Throughout the year, the club helps organize fun events for families, kids, couples, and neighbors of all ages from holiday celebrations and neighborhood gatherings to moms nights, story times, seasonal events, and more. These events are what make our neighborhood feel connected, welcoming, and truly special, and we’d love to see even more neighbors get involved
The success of these events depends on volunteers, hosts, and community participation Whether you’d like to host a gathering in your backyard, help plan an event, decorate, organize activities, or simply lend a hand for an hour or two, every bit of help makes a difference Getting involved is also one of the best ways to meet neighbors, make new friends, and help shape the kind of community we all want to live in The more people who participate, the more events and opportunities we can continue to offer for everyone in ARCN.

Wine Down with the Moms
Our HOA Moms Night was such a fun and memorable evening! Hosted by Jenn in her beautiful backyard, the event brought together an amazing group of moms for a relaxing night to unwind, connect, and enjoy each other’s company From longtime friends to several new faces joining us for the first time, the turnout was incredible and the atmosphere was welcoming from the moment everyone arrived
The night was filled with great conversation, laughter, delicious food, and plenty of champagne to go around. It was so nice seeing everyone take a break from busy schedules to simply enjoy a carefree evening together The mix of moms made it even more special from dog moms to new moms and seasoned pros, everyone fit right in and helped make the night feel warm, fun, and community-focused
To top it all off, each mom went home with a bottle of Prosecco as a little thank-you for coming and celebrating with us It was the perfect ending to such a successful event, and we’re already looking forward to the next moms night
LeprechaunTrap Leprechaun Trap Contest Contest
Celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day
What a lucky and fun-filled evening at our Leprechaun Trap Contest! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and make the night so special From all of the creative leprechaun traps to the delicious Irish dishes and festive spirit, it was such a great turnout and an amazing community event Seeing so many families, neighbors, and new faces together made the evening even more memorable
A special thank you goes out to all of the kids who participated in the leprechaun trap contest The creativity and effort put into every single trap was incredible, and it was so fun seeing all of the imaginative ideas come to life. Every child who participated received a special prize, and we loved watching how excited and proud they were throughout the event They truly made the night magical!
We also had a wonderful time ending the evening with the movie Zootopia 2 under the stars Thank you again to everyone who joined us, helped make the event a success, and brought such positive energy to the night We can’t wait for the next community gathering!

Year 5 of Story Time is almost here!
Join us every Friday this summer at 10:00 AM in Davies Park for a fun and relaxed morning of stories, snacks, and community Story Time usually wraps up around 11:00 AM, but we often stay longer when the kids are having fun! We will begin June 5 and continue through August 7
We gather at the picnic tables under the covered shelter near the tennis courts Children of all ages are welcome, though our group typically ranges from infants to around 7–8 years old.
Kids are encouraged to bring a favorite book to share along with enjoying selections from my personal collection and books I bring from the library. On especially warm days, I’ll also have fans, cooling towels, and popsicles available Snacks, juice, and water are always provided.
I’m so excited to see familiar faces again and meet new friends this summer!

The Haunted House of the ARCN

Every October 31st, The Mortimeyer’s house on Lost Creek becomes one of the most talked-about Halloween attractions in the neighborhood. This family goes all out each year, transforming their property into an incredible haunted house experience filled with spooky decorations, eerie surprises, and unforgettable fun for families. Their hard work and creativity never goes unnoticed there’s always a huge line of excited visitors waiting to walk through and enjoy the experience It has truly become a favorite neighborhood tradition that so many residents look forward to every Halloween season.

The Meyers family Megan, Jason, Daniel, and Rose love spending time outdoors, hosting friends and neighbors, exploring local events around the Folsom and Granite Bay area, and making the most of family life with their two energetic little kids. They can usually be found trying a new local restaurant, brewery, or winery, or planning their next gathering with family and friends
The Gardeners
After 24 wonderful years in ARCN, Wanda and Randy continue to feel grateful to call this community home. Over the years, they’ve watched the neighborhood grow, built lasting friendships, and created countless memories with their family Wanda recently retired from her career as a teacher, while Randy works as an insurance broker and wealth manager. Together, they’ve raised two children and are now enjoying life as proud grandparents to two grandchildren.
What they love most about ARCN is the strong sense of community and the welcoming atmosphere that makes neighbors feel like family. From friendly walks through the neighborhood to community gatherings and special events, they believe ARCN is truly a special place to live, connect, and make lifelong memories.

Bitta, Randy, and little Luna moved to ARCN from the Bay Area in June 2022 and have loved building their life and growing their family in the neighborhood ever since Both working in tech, they stay busy balancing work life with family time and making the most of everything the area has to offer.
When they’re not chasing after Luna, you’ll likely find them exploring local parks, trying new restaurants, or searching for their next favorite coffee shop around town They love the welcoming feel of the neighborhood and the strong sense of community that has made ARCN feel like home so quickly. While they don’t currently have pets, adding a dog to the family is definitely on their future wish list.

Stephanie and Tony of Cascade Falls recently transformed their backyard into the ultimate entertaining space Their newly finished pool which was done by Prestigious Pools creates a beautiful resort-style atmosphere, while the handmade barbecue setup under the pergola adds the perfect custom touch for hosting family and friends. From the thoughtful design to the warm outdoor gathering areas, every detail of the space feels inviting, relaxing, and built for making memories. It’s a stunning backyard that truly showcases how outdoor living can bring people together.
The Jafarinejads
The Jafarinejad family Ali, Yuri, Jazmine, and Mateo have lived at ARCN for six years and are proud to be part of such a wonderful community When they are not working, they spend most of their time with their children, Jazmine and Mateo. Jazmine enjoys dance lessons and playing soccer, while Mateo loves riding his bike around the neighborhood park and currently takes martial arts classes at the local Kovar’s. One of their favorite things about the neighborhood, aside from the wonderful neighbors, is the beautiful network of bike trails throughout the community and the close proximity to Old Folsom and the lake

Pet of the Month
The Black Panther
Meet this month’s neighborhood celebrity: Black Panther, the large black cat who has become a familiar face around Alpine Falls. Whether he’s casually strolling down the sidewalk, lounging in the sun, or stopping by for a quick head scratch, Black Panther has definitely made himself part of the community. With his big personality and even bigger size, he’s hard to miss and even harder not to love.
Despite not wearing a collar, Black Panther seems completely at home roaming the neighborhood and making new friends everywhere he goes. Neighbors describe him as incredibly sweet, affectionate, and always happy to stop for attention from anyone willing to give it. He’s become somewhat of a local legend around Alpine Falls, bringing smiles to residents young and old. If you happen to spot this friendly feline on one of his daily adventures, don’t be surprised if he comes right up asking for pets and a little extra love.

The goal is fixing the issues - not embarrassing the neighbors Focus on solutions, not just frustrations.

The BEST 7 Layered Dip
2 cans fritos bean dip
1 ½ cup sour cream
⅓ cup mayo
1 taco packet
1 ½ cup guacamole
1 can sliced black olives
4 green onions chopped
8 ounce block cheddar cheese shredded
1 cup chopped cilantro
In a bowl, combine sour cream, mayo, and taco seasoning together. On a plate, layer the frito bean dip, sour cream mixture, guac, olives, green onions, cheese, and cilantro. Enjoy with tortilla chips!
