GREETINGS FROM THE WILD

You've opened up this curious gate, Where odd hellos await their fate.
Proceed if you're the kind who dares -
To peek at how the wild declares.

You've opened up this curious gate, Where odd hellos await their fate.
Proceed if you're the kind who dares -
To peek at how the wild declares.
- Giraffes
With necks like cranes, so tall and neat, Giraffes entwine when they meet. A hug? A wrestle? Who can tellIt's love or battle; both work well!
A stranger swims into their zone, The puffer bloats like a living cone. They blow some bubbles, swell with gleeAquatic hugs in high buoyancy !
- Cat
In alleyways and posh salons, Cats greet with sniffs where pride is gone. No handshakes here, just tails held highA butt-sniff says, "Hello, old guy!
He nibbles toes with gentle grace, Upside-down in snuggly space. It's weird, but sweet, just bat bro-code, In nature's oddest grooming mode.
- Penguins
"Here's a rock I found for you," Says Mr. Peng with love so true. With pebble gifts and flappy pride, A penguin woos his future bride.
- Ants
A tap-tap here, a tap-tap there, Ants greet with style and flair.
No small talk - just a pheromone hit, Then back to crumbs, like tiny grit.
They don't shake hands, they don't do hugs,
Just lob their turds from leafy rugs. "Nice to meet ya!" SPLAT- on cue, It's monkey love, in shades of poo.
So ends the tale of wild "hellos", But what comes next - who really knows? Perhaps your cat or bird or bee Greets you with weird sincerity.
Readers,
Hi ! I am a Masters Student in Design from IIT Hyderabad. This is my first publication design and I have loved the journey so far. This publication design is themed around eyes as eyes greet first no matter what creature. I hope you enjoyed learning weird new facts and had a fun experience reading.
Looking forward to many more such experiences !
