OLD BRIDGE THANK YOU!! 50 BOXES AND OVER 200 HIGH SCHOOL BAGS FILLED WITH TOYS COLLECTED HONORED 85 STUDENTS

In November who earned academic distinction through the National Recognition Program, an achievement that places them among the nation’s highest-performing students. With support from the College Board, the school hosted an awards ceremony to bring families, educators, and community members together. The College Board’s National Recognition Program, available on Big Future, honors high-achieving students in grades 10 and 11 who maintain a B+ average or higher and demonstrate strong performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, or AP Exams. The program helps students stand out during college recruitment and admissions cycles. College Board representatives presented National Recognition Program award certificates to students and shared remarks celebrating their accomplishments and future aspirations. Students were honored in one or more categories, including the School Recognition Award, First Generation Recognition Award, and Rural & Small Town Recognition Award.

The Old Bridge Chamber of Commerce, once again, is giving back to our most cherished community members, our children, with the support of our friends at All-American Ford and Quality Chevy who served as the primary toy drop-off centers, donations steadily increased over the weeks leading up to the holidays. Thank you to Mayor Debbie Walker, Senator Henry, Councilman Erik DePalma and his daughter, Councilman Darin Accettelli, Chief Bob Verney Fire District 3, David Lee Hernandez Jr. President of the Old Bridge

Chamber of Commerce, Anthony Cosentino Vice President of the Old Bridge Chamber of Commerce, and the All-American Ford team ,the Quality Chevy team, John & Midge Hauser for their box truck and a helping hand, Chris Nasta and Carla Colucci from the Rotary Club of Old Bridge Sayreville who came and help unload, and OB TV for all their efforts. We loaded 2 ½ box trucks with over 50 boxes and over 200 bags of toys. Special thanks to Brian Garley from Lawn Spa for assisting us in picking up the toys

around Old Bridge and playing the Grinch, we received a generous donation of 2 box trucks from Daniel Sclafani, the manager of UHAUL on Rt 9, which allowed us to load the toys for two days. We express our deepest gratitude to the businesses that graciously became drop-off sites for five weeks, collecting toys and making this event the best year ever. A heartfelt thank you to all the residents who donated toys and contributed to the success of this wonderful initiative and a thank you to all the residence who donated this year.
